My last weekend...

Saturday - 29-nov-2008
Woke up at 9 am, spoke with granny. She states she has bronchitis and flu and pops is getting the old man disease.. sigh.she's stressed but i can't go visit her. Why is Melbourne so expensive to go..??Headed for capoeira class and then hartamas for lunch. Eating in Backofen is nice :) and the price is acceptable for the portion it serves and the quality...
We then "wanted" to go catch a movie but the sun hit us at around 1.30 and soon one by one could feel tired so we decided to all head back home respectively and meet up later in the evening... which did not happen and i ended up doing nothing on a Saturday night other than headin to Mangoo to chill and disturb the boys.

Sunday- 30-Nov-2008

Thanks to the awesome sunshine that just had to hit right on my forehead and eyes, i woke up early again. 9 am is very early for me. So i decided to go cost-saving mode and cooked up myself some tom yam instant noodles style while watching "The forbidden Kingdom - feat Jet Li and Jacky Chan". The uncle woke up just about when the movie was ending and we exchanged our hellos. And i decided i should head to the office to finish up some work.
Then left the office at around 3.30pm to head for Capoeira class. After class, we all went to One Utama for the Salsa Cruise where yours truly was going to join the performance or ze first time. It was awesome.. though i was the biggest monster there, i still enjoyed myself and had loads of laughs.
Tiring but fun weekend i'd say
The konon 180 degrees picture shot pato was trying to take... nice try

New havana Ad? hahahahha no one will join

Those were the days

Elissa is great... she found my old pictures.. VERY old pics and posted some on facebook.. So funny how i look then.. I looked damn young! now i feel old :

Picture shows Joanne, Elissa, Daryl and yours truly.
Me and Joanne was talking about this picture the other day and was saying how young we looked. I laughed and told her i looked way more "bulat" (round) in the picture then and she said "im the opposite" Apparently i looked fatter then and she looked slimmer comparing with our bodies today but we both came to agreement how young we looked.. hahahaha
This was Joanne's 21st birthday bash.
Cheryl,YiLyn,Caring,Joanne,Meself,Elissa, Michelle's gf and Michelle.
I remembered how crazy the games were and how the guys.. were doing the catwalk!~!!
This is the one picture i never knew existed.
It's me and the ex.. im still trying to count how many years ago was this taken.
We always thought we never took a picture together before..Sigh.. i looked so young and naive then...what happened to me??
This pic is the all time classic pic we had.
Bryant (wearing i'm a virgin tshirt) Joanne, Me,Simran,Amypark,Cheryl,Elissa,Alex,Chan,Yi Lyn,Eugene..!!!! If not mistaken this was cafe!~ at gurney hotel when it first opened...
I still love dancing.. im still trying to figure out that girl behind amy park is Debbie or not?? : hmmmm

Krabi

When everyone was "balik kampung" to raya.
Me, Espelho and cacau decided we wanted to have a short break away frm the Malaysian
holiday cum jam to Krabi, Thailand.
When we reached there we were absolutely lost so i made a call to "TheCaramelAndre" to ask for recommendation and also the hope for him to change his mind and take a van over from Koh Tao. Well he fell sick but asked me to head over to Ton Sai Beach.
When the 3 of us figured out the way to get there, to our disappointment the whole beach was empty....
Well with a few rock climbers here and there., we found out later that the area is famous for it's rock climbing..
Now i know why he introduced me there.. he loves to climb. Bah! not me..
So instead we headed to the most recognisable bar... The Reggae Bar.
Cacau had Heineken, Espelho Chang and myself Singha
(which ended up with me drinking chang, and espelho drinking Singha)
After a hour of boredom we decided to walk around the rocky area to reach Raileys
And to our surprise... omg.. awesome sunset with a lot of people

After the tiring trip we took a taxi boat back to Ao Nang to freshen up and go for more drinks..
The next day was Kayaking.. awesome... Recommended to go!
Then message by the beach..

We made friends with Daniel from Sweden...
Which brought us around.. like he was as though a local there :p

Awesome fire show we saw... jaw dropping i tell you.

At the lazy bar...

ahahha when we were at Maya Bay.. We saw this Brazilian flag towel and we thought it belonged to a Brazilian group.. to our dismay there were from India and didn't speak a single word of Portuguese :(

Maya bay was nice but too many people

Back to Ao Nang Beach,, where i temp a karate kid / Kung fu panda
Okay why i took this picture.. check out how the monkey is holding a coke bottle.
He actually ended up drinking the coke.. cool eh :P

Snorkeling around the Phi Phi was fun too.. EXCEPT the life jackets which gives you a wedgie.

I took mine off within the first 10 mins.. grrrr....

We met a group of Malaysians on our boat too.. :)
The clean water just attracts you to stay in the water man
See what i mean~~!!! WEDGIE!

lol
Kamikaze in a bucket taste awesome i tell u.... Burp...
This is officially my new "hiau" face
And there you have it ladies and gentlemen.. the "hiau"ness in me + kamikaze buckets + Sangsom coke (Thai Whisky) gave me the courage to talk to the single Irish bloke at the bar and invited him to our table. Which later we became friends.. lol

I wasn't interested in doing anything more.. damn it.
Well... new friends added on facebook :)

ps: Jo... the blog information is for non-family members and very close family members only. Do not disclose any of my trip to the family please? thanks :p
