Couch Surfing

I recently joined this community called CouchSurfing. I was introduced to this by a friend of mine from Australia when he was visiting me for a week or so in Malaysia. So not knowing anything i joined the website and decided to browse around.

To my surprise there was a big community of Malaysians also into this. Some of them call it their "secret society". It was really cool as i went to gatherings and meet up with travellers to show them around, share our stories and became friends. It was different as when i met up with everyone for the first time, there was no discrimination, no one cared if you were dressed well or had money or just relaxing. And you meet people of same interest :) Which was really cool
Here are some pictures i have from meeting everyone :) and more to come :) Just temporary my camera died on me and i am yet to collect money for a new one

curious..

So I always thought i knew men quite well with the sufficient sharing i get from my brother, friends and family.

Recently with the latest people i've been hanging out with.. I am begining to feel it's getting harder for me to understand men. (or at least these few..)

I can't seem to see if there is interest or not or irritations or me being plain stupid.

Bah! Life goes on eh?

Short trip to Yogjakarta with 3M ladiezzzz

So we bought our ticket last year during the free flight promo but I totally forgot about it and forgot to save money ... We still went though and of course yours truly was eager to go see the temple of Borobudur in central Java.

Arriving at the destination after suffering 2 hours ++ with an indonesian girl that had B.O of a sweaty man, we came off the plan and the airport was so small the line to go in was taking forever and we were stuck outside waiting for our turn to get in and get scanned for swine flu .. passport etc...

So we took a picture outside instead. If you have been flying with air asia alot, you would remember that it is prohibited to take pictures outside the runway but since we were stuck there.. lucky us.. Under the hot sun!
Upon entering, Anita got stopped for check as her body temperature shot up while getting scanned. What they didn't realise was, she was wearing a sweater outside waiting to get in. Of course her body would be hot.. Damn hot wei!!
The first night was relaxing we checked in the hotel and started walking for food. We all agreed not to eat at the roadside street food to avoid any food poisoning whatsoever.
Got stalked by trishaw peddlers for at least 2 km walking asking us "5000 rupiah one hour!! Palace!!" Blah blah blah... dude leave us alone!
The next day, we hired a travel agency to take us to Central Java.. to see .. AT LAST! my long awaited Borobudur temple! It was magnificient!
Yes!! i jumped the highest! my workmates kept on stating that the gravity was on top and not below for me! I say Thank you CAPOEIRA! shoo shoo!

It was 10 levels to walk up! Magnificient carvings with stories of Prince Sidartha * (Buddha before he reached enlightment)
Getting ready to walk up! Semangat i tell ya! :)

Always finding more things to do on Borobudur.. we decided to meditate on what should be done!
Ohmmmmm... Wendy HAD to look at the camera! aiyooo...

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen.. Yoga exercise on the top of the temple! hahahah

Here is me and Roselind's second attempt as the first one, my stomach popped out! :( DIET time!
The S,M,L sizes.. hahahah
After that we took a damn long journey to see the volcanos (which was from afar) and had nothing much to see.. and then headed to Pranbanan..

It's a pity though there was an earthquake last year and almost half of the place was collapse :(
After that we went shopping and went back... End of trip :P hahaha
8 ppl headed to Yogja and had simple fun! :)
