Misunderstood

When I do my best to do as much as I can,
People see me as too aggressive....

When I offer my help to others,
People see me as being a busy body...

When I am friendly and try to be a good host,
People see me as having no work to do...

When i do one mistake out of the times i have helped out,
People see me as not to be trusted with work ...

When others do a mistake,
People say it's okay, no problem, everyone does mistakes,

When I leave one day,
People! Please remember what I've done,
Everything I do, I did it for the better of everyone..

I know i know, I have been missing in action from blogging. YES i was missing in action drinking my life away...
Kidding....

I have been travelling still yes. Not as much but still am. But have been hectic lately at work that time does not permit me to write.

Many years ago, my grandmother kept asking me to go Phuket, Thailand to meet the family that i never met or knew my existence.

Since my grandma passed away last year, i decided to go there with my aunt to let them know my existence and to know who they are. I never wanted to go to Phuket in the past with all the rumors about it.

Bought my tickets, dragged a few friends along, and of course with my aunt and we headed there...

To my surprise, Phuket was okay. It was like the Thai version of Penang (adding the other ++ services)
Oh and the beach is way cleaner than Penang.

Met with my long lost family whom i never met and still have problems with language barrier.
This is my original Kampung house which my great grandparents stayed in.

More lost family members
The lady in the middle next to me is my Grandad's sister
Oh did i mention my friends also came to Phuket to have fun with me.

A few months after, or actually 1 month.. We headed to Vietnam to do some shopping. It was just us girls - Mel, Jo, Dawn, YQ and myself
Indeed a shopping heaven
did i mention haggling?

And meeting up with Julie was fun!! and Anh Tuan

After that i headed back to Pui Kwan's wedding in Penang. Was fun catching up with old high school friends which many were married and mothers!!
Had more awesome fun seeing the god son have his new temporary pet- A CRAB
A few weeks after, headed to Alor Setar to catch the MUPC tournament and support Yik's event :) with June

I got lazy to write.. Just view the pics

Sailing at Marina Pulau Indah

Thanks to Groupon , I had the opportunity to buy and try out a day's course for Sailing. Despite the heavy rains for the past few days, on the day we had to sail, the weather was perfect. Hot and shiny... but no wind to begin with.

The boat we were to sail on

So we started chilling and having snacks on the boat

The captain was a very friendly fella :)

Some phenomena.. The ring around the sun..on the day we sailed.

Layan pictures

This is what happens when there is no wind.

The girls started blowing the sail!
After awhile the wind came, and we got busy with handling the boat.

Awesome trip but tiring

We even gotten Certificates for it! whooohoooo

Weekend away in Kuantan

1 Malaysia holidays should be celebrated like this. Different race, culture and nationality going somewhere and having some fun. That's exactly what we did. Well with a little purpose in it.

The weekend was planned to head to Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan to participate for Ache Brasil Capoeira's 3rd Batizado (graduation). It was at the beach the whole time. Very hot, very windy and very fun trip all in all. With Malaysians off all races, malay, chinese, indian to other nationalities like Brasil, Africa, France and Canada.  Having a traditional outfit bbq party, to driving to Cherating to waking up the french boys for a day of fun :) Here are some pictures to share.
Even the Brazilian wore baju Melayu
Capoeira workshop beside the beach
Gangsta girls
Getaway to Cherating beach
Cherating beach! ALL TO MYSELF!!

EVIL French boys had their own private pool in their villa

Its time to wake them up
Kevin was not as happy as Younes to be woken up
Well everyone came out at the end.....
And loads of fun...

Of course we raided the private pool

WEEeeeee

The getaway girls!

My review on this trip is simple

Teluk Chempedak, Kuantan is fun filled with local cultures and families around. It is more packed with people and there are night shoppings and cheap food. But if you are planning for a sun tan in your bikini and some quiet time, i would not recommend this to you.

Cherating, Kuantan is a more relaxing place with lesser crowd on the beach and more foreigners. The water is clean and is plan tranquility. Food is more expensive though and not as much culture to experience :)
